The Great Impasta Italian Restaurant 1:12 2009 This house was found at a yard sale. Both Jim and I saw it at the same time, and yelled, "Dollhouse!" Jim slammed on the breaks and backed the car up. I bargained with the lady selling it and got it for a good price. (See photos at the bottom of the page.) After the house sat in my living room empty for a couple of years, I started rehabbing it. It was a lot more work then I originally thought. I ended up scraping off the roof and starting over. I had to finish the inside with joint compound and sand it to get it smooth enough to work with. Almost all the windows needed to be made larger to fit standard sizes. I had to cut doors for most of the rooms and install a staircase. I probably could have started from scratch and it would have been a lot easier. Also had to tear off the old siding and start over. I decided to make it into an Italian Restaurant but having fun with it, decided on having a Mafia Meeting in the upstairs dining room. I still need to make more dolls for the mafia meeting and also need another diner or two. But for the most part, it's done. Luigi, the owner and his wife Gerry live upstairs in the attic apartment. Carmine, their son (in the office) is visiting and has a crush on Angela the waitress. Gino is the cook. The Chubby Don, Anthony "Fat Tony" Linguini , runs the mafia meeting. His muscle (the gunman) is Albert "The Executioner." Standing by the door is Fat Tony's son, Donny, also known as "Sonny." Vincent "The Fish" Trachino ,with the cigar, is of another "family." The Grumpy Old Don, Anthony Linguini, Sr., head of the family is coming in the door. Revised 6/27/2017 Click on images for closer view.

These are of the dining room where Angela is taking an order from a customer. Gerry is bringing in a birthday cake. I hope to have at least two more diners at some point.
	This is the entrance and downstairs hall. between the kitchen and dining room.

Gino is in the kitchen baking and making yummy Italian foods.

The Mafia meeting is in the second floor dining room. The table is all laid out for the rest of the "soldiers" to arrive. I hope to have at least two or three more dolls.

This is the hallway on the second floor. There is a "unisex" bathroom complete with urinal but you can only see it if you look in the front window.
	Here are photos of the inside of the second floor bathroom before the hall walls were built. On the right is the door to the hall way from inside the bathroom.

Carmine is in the second floor office getting his IPOD so he can impress Angela with all his "tunes."

This is Luigi and Gerry's bedroom on the third floor. Gatto the cat is playing with a mouse that is hiding under the dresser.

This is the third floor family bathroom.

Lastly, is the third floor family living room. Aberto, the new puppy is worn out taking a nap on the living room carpet.

	The Before Pictures Here is the house as it looked when we found it at the yard sale. Needed a lot of work!
Once I get the Restaurant out of my work room and somewhere where I have room, I'll take photos of the whole thing and of the outside, so come back soon!
