Grace's Bedroom/Wedding Scene 1:12

This scene came about because I fell in love with the wedding dress by Miniature Rose. The scene base is constructed from a picture frame with foam insulation to bring the floor level up to working height, and the "hardwood" flooring is finished with polyurethane. The cover is cut from Plexiglas. (My first attempt at this -- with a little help from my "Dear Husband" who had to square the corners for me). I've included close-up pictures taken by Dina Watts, of the wedding dress, bouquet, hanging plant negligee, and bridal luggage. Her pictures are better than mine! I painted the shoes and added the rose ornamentation, dressed the bed, built the plant pole, made the corn flower pillow, veil and garter. Hope you enjoy your visit to my scene. It's not a Brooke Tucker... but we can't all be as talented as her! Click on the pictures for a larger/closer view.
